Purchasing any On Hold Music from White Beetle Ltd means you agree to the terms of our License Agreement as laid out below.
White Beetle Ltd grants a single non-exclusive license to the individual person or business for on hold music obtained from White Beetle Ltd.
The Licensee's actual receipt of the music is considered acceptance of this Music License Agreement.
The Licensee's location and contact information, and the music ("the music") granted for use by Licensee under this On Hold Music License Agreement, are indicated on the paid invoice provided to the Licensee by White Beetle Ltd. If the License covers more than one Location this will also be indicated on the paid invoice.
"Music-On-Hold" refers to music played through Licensee's telephone for a customer while they wait on-hold, and "Location" refers to the location from where the music is made audible. Solely as it refers only to the use of the music as Music-On-Hold, this license is a Direct License. For further information on "Location" please refer to our FAQ.
The Licensee has the non-exclusive right for Seventy Five Years, to use the licensed music free of any additional charges for the sole purpose of providing "Music-On-Hold”.
The Licensee does not acquire any ownership rights or any underlying copyrights. White Beetle Ltd retain all rights, title and interest in the music obtained from White Beetle Ltd, including all copyrights belonging to the original copyright holders.
Unauthorized use is a violation of this agreement and of applicable laws of the United Kingdom and other countries. Duplication is permitted solely for Licensees with multiple location licenses and is restricted to one CD per Location.
The Licensee has the right to publicly perform the licensed music as "Music-On-Hold" background music which may be made audible from the licensed "Location" indicated on Licensee's paid invoice. Purchasing extra licenses allows the Licensee to provide "Music-On-Hold" background music on a one License per one Location basis.
Performing rights have been paid directly to White Beetle Ltd, therefore no collections or payments shall be made to performance rights organizations such as, but not limited to, MCPS and PRS, solely as it pertains to the use of the music for Music-On-Hold.
The music may be rerecorded with other audio elements (such as a voice over for Licensee's specialized on hold messages), this is permitted synchronization.
Use of the music by any entity offering background music services to other third parties is prohibited under this On Hold Music License Agreement.
This license is personal to Licensee and shall not be assigned by any act of Licensee or by operation of law unless in connection with a transfer of substantially all of the assets of Licensee or otherwise with the consent of White Beetle Ltd.
Right to Terminate: White Beetle Ltd shall have the right to immediately terminate this Music License Agreement by giving written notice to Licensee in the event Licensee breaches any of its terms and provision, including nonpayment of license fee.
Changes to the license agreement can only be made by White Beetle Limited giving the Licensee 28 days notice only.
