"El Capitan" is just three minutes and seven seconds in length and has a very eclectic feel to it. Classical instrumentation is used with also an acoustic guitar. The arrangement is orchestral using staccato chord stabs on the the strings that gives the piece a slow Tango feel. The main melody is represented throughout on different instruments such as violins and various woodwind instruments and flutes. A very folky acoustic guitar solo takes the honours in the middle of the track and lends this piece of royalty free music an Eastern European folk feel while subtle strings swirl around in the background.
This enchanting and cinematic piece of music becomes quite a rich and moving texture as as it develops while maintaining the stabbing rhythm from the string section. The traditional feel and instrumentation give this piece of music a wonderfully authentic sound that makes for excellent production music. Also an excellent choice as background music because it engages the listener in an enigmatic way and scary way and in doing so will help the media producer bring their production to life. Suitable for all kinds of media productions, especially Film production, dramas, documentaries, radio shows and radio jingles, web development and podcasts.
