Gluck in 21st Century is an interesting modern interpretation of an extract of Christoph Willibald Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice which is an opera based on the myth of Orpheus. This interpretation has a slow European rock style with a "Gary Moore" type guitar style leading the melody. The tempo is moderately slow and the instrumentation is electric guitar, synthesizer pad and strings, electric bass guitar and electronic drums. The feel is romantic and meloncholic.
Christoph Willibald Gluck (1714-1787) mainly composed operas in what is regarded as the early classical period as is acknowledged to as being highly influential in reforming and modernising opera so that is equally represented music and word and focussed on drama, love and passion.
