| Latin Pop aka Pop Latino (Spanish) is of course popular music with a Latin influence or style and generally speaking covers Popular music in Latin speaking countries but a punk Rock singing in Spanish would not be considered as Latin Pop as much as Groria Estefan singing in English with a Latin influence would. Today it is being mixed with Hip Hop and Heavy Rock music.

Julio Iglesias, Gloria Estefan, Shakira, Luis Miguel, Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias have all enjoyed very successful careers producing Latin Pop music with Julio Iglesias selling a whopping 250 to 300 million records and still counting. Julio is these days considered to be the King of Latin Pop and the undisputed Queen is Gloria Estefan.
