Pachelbel in 21st Century is a contemporary adaptation of Johann Pachelbel's beautiful Canon In D major. Pachelbel was a German composer from the Baroque period. Sadly much of Pachelbel's work was lost and Canon In D major was only rediscovered in the twentieth century and subsequently became a popular piece on Classical CD compilations as well as being played at weddings. Musically, this piece is interesting as it employs the "Canon" technique which is where several voices play the same music but in an ordered sequence.
With a running time of two minutes and three seconds a moderate tempo this gentle tune has been brought to life again with a ballad pop style backing track of piano, bass guitar, drums, percussion and Hammond organ. This piece of royalty free music features quality arrangement skills and a delicate and contemporary sound and feel that make this music an excellent opportunity for the media producer to bring out the best in his or her production. Suitable for all kinds of media productions, especially Film production, comedy dramas, animations, video games, documentaries, radio shows and radio jingles.
