Villano is a very short piece of Baroque music composition from the well known composer/guitarist Gaspar Sanz. One of a series of five compositions collectively known as Villano . This piece of music might also have been played on the Lute which was still very much in use in the Baroque period.
This piece of royalty free music is practically a jingle or a sting with a running time of only eight seconds so it is difficult to imagine how Villano might have been used otherwise as it does led itself perfectly to that purpose and very useful for the game show producer or radio producer. Suitable for all kinds of media productions, including Film production, period dramas, history documentaries.
Gaspar Sanz (1640-1710) was an Spanish composer and priest from Aragone. He is well known for his compositions in the Spanish baroque music genre and his influence extends into the twentieth century. He was a gifted guitarist and became an authority on guitar instruction and theory, well documented in his three book study Instruccion de musica sobre la guitarra Espanola. He took advantage of the developments of the guitar as while he was a young man guitars had gained a fifth string and also began to be tuned in fourths much like today.
